“NPO” - nothing by mouth prior to surgery…. most patient’s go into surgery dehydrated adding strain to the body in addition to the oxidative stress caused by surgery itself. Surgical Works is a pre and post operative treatment designed to hydrate the body before surgery to reduce risk of intraoperative acute kidney injury, reduce oxidative stress of the procedure, hydrate the body after surgery, boost immunity to decrease post operative infection and to aid in tissue healing and recovery. The package includes evaluation by our nurse practitioner and 3 infusions for the price of 1: an infusion one week before surgery, IV fluids one day before surgery and a post op infusion 2-3 days after your procedure. Additional post op infusions are available a la carte for ongoing complex wound recovery and healing.
